In 1993, we founded CHESS as a service provider conducting exclusive custom research projects mainly for the Pharmaceutical Industry. Our experience in this field adds up to more than 50 man-years and covers a wide range of modern Organic Chemistry.
Since 1997, we expanded our business to the synthesis of fine chemicals. Our focus lies on building blocks mainly for use in medicinal chemistry. The very most of these compounds are synthesised in our laboratories in Germany.
E.g., there are many compounds based on substructures like Piperazine, Piperidine, Morpholine and Pyrrolidine. Additionally, we offer a new series of Unnatural Amino Acid derivatives.

Cyclopentasilane (CPS, H5Si5)
We developed the in-house synthesis of CPS in multi-gramme scale. Now, we plan to scale it up into 50/100g scale. Our initial batches rendered material suitable for use as substrate in a printing process of amorphous/micro-crystalline Silicon thin films. In case of interest, please contact us for discussion.
